Research title: Study on housing rights for marriage migrants in South Korea

Research aim: To evaluate the accessibility of housing welfare services for marriage migrants and propose policies and social services to safeguard their housing rights.

Content: The study examines (i) needs of marriage migrants for housing welfare programmes; (ii) status of their their rights to adequate housing; (iii) international comparisons of social housing policy for migrants, (iv) challenges the marriage migrants are facing in accessing public housing and housing benefits (based on in-depth interviews); and (v) policy recommendations for improving their housing rights.
