Our research directors and co-founders, Dr. Boram Kimhur and Dr. Minjung Oh, have released a new preprint:

“What Undermines Migrants' Right to Adequate Housing?: Inequality, Capabilities, and Barriers to Information and Belonging.”

Based on interviews with marriage migrants in South Korea, the study uncovers how informational barriers and institutional barriers to belonging limit migrants’ housing rights, reflecting deeper inequalities shaped by nationalism, racism, sexism, and familism.
